Cub Scout camping is "family car camping" style (as opposed to hike-in camping) with access to bathroom facilities and water. Electricity is sometimes available but should not be counted on.
Each Scout camps with their family (or designated adult) and typically dens will try to camp together, though actual layout will depend on where we camp.
Some families opt to share resources, for instance, a cooking stove and food. The Pack usually provides Saturday night dinner while the dens plan and provide Saturday lunch. All other meals are "on your own".
If you haven't been camping before, don't be intimidated! Many of our families team up to share equipment, so don't let your inexperience convince you not to join.
